Taylor Hicks To Star On Broadway

American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will join the Broadway production of Grease next month for a three-month stint as The Teen Angel. The 31-year-old singer, whose Idol fan base was dubbed The Soul Patrol, plans to add "soulful flavor" to his performance of the song "Beauty School Dropout," a tune originally made famous by Frankie Avalon in the 1978 film.He says, "It's a big number, and, you know, I've made some pretty grand entrances before. And this one is probably the grandest entrance I've had in my career."

Eighties boyband New Kids On The Block performed their first concert in 14 years to legions of screaming fans who camped outside for two days awaiting their comeback on Friday's "Today Show."The five-piece performed a medley of their 1990s hits on the show - announced during a reunion appearance on the morning TV program last month.
